Growing up, my mum and I used to sell handmade crafts together at Hartlebury Castle in Worcestershire. She made children’s waistcoats and jackets, I made christmas stockings and fabric gift tags.
Those craft fair days shaped the way I approach making:
with care, with love, and with the belief that handmade things carry a piece of the person who made them.
Mum passed away in 2003, but her spirit is in every stitch. When I make a stocking for your family, I’m continuing a tradition that started with her.
Now, from my home in South Warrington, Cheshire, I source rare vintage Cranston, Nutex, Rose & Hubble and Makower panels that you rarely find anywhere else and turn them into keepsakes your family will bring out year after year.
