Recently, a relative and a friend of mine have both had new babies.

I decided to create the same personalised new baby gift for them both using my Bernina embroidery machine, by adding names to some 100% cotton towels.  In both cases, they have older ‘toddler’ siblings, so thought it only fair to make some for them too.

I know that my friend likes brown, so for her two boys I decided on light brown towels & red cotton thread.  For my relative I decided to play it safe & stick with cream & dark brown cotton thread.
