I started making my own Christmas Cards at least 20 years ago.
If I was able to look back at some of my ever first creations, I would no doubt be somewhat embarrassed – but then you have to start somewhere & back then, you didn’t have access to half of the kits, embellishments, backing papers & other imaginative easy to use supplies that you can buy nowadays.
This year, with limited spare time, I decided to have a go at basic decoupage – I say basic because all I have done is bought some ‘Forever Friends’ decoupage kits. The kits contains ready to pop out pieces, assorted backing papers & then you just build up your design onto a card blank size of your choice.
Once I have personalised e.g by adding ribbon / additional stickers / embellishments / toppers, I finally print off a sheet of paper, cut to size, which displays my Christmas Greeting & stick it into the middle of the card.
