I love to make my own cards, but with my eldest boy starting school in September, the build up to Christmas 2010 was a blur & I was not at all prepared in terms of Christmas Cards.

Disappointingly, I made less than half a dozen.

So this is why I now find myself already thinking about Christmas 2011 !

Whilst out today getting my son’s feet measured, I had chance to nip into Hobbycraft to check out their sale items.  And I managed to pick up some great bargains – believe me it pays to get out there now!

I grabbed the last 2 packs of die-cut 3d Christmas decoupage for a rock bottom price of 50p each – containing enough die cuts to make 8 cards.  The designs are delightful – produced by company called patchwork kingdom.  You can check out the range of Christmas Designs by visiting a dedicated page on their website: www.patchworkkingdom.com

Here ‘s a pciture of the 4 I’ve managed to make up (not on cards as yet) since I got home:

I also picked up a pack of Christmas 12″ x 12″ papers for half price which I look forward to using with my new Cricut Imagine printing & cutting machine.

It’s well worth checking out the sales both online & instore right now even if you then put things away for a few months.  I however, intend to get a very early start for 2011…
